Signs point to change at German private dairy Bechtel in Schwarzenfeld (Bavaria). Although the milk market in Europe is highly competitive, the company continues to grow and has set its goals for the future, increasing production capacity at its new production facility to offer its products in various packaging formats. With solutions from SIG, Bechtel considers itself well equipped in terms of quality, efficiency and format flexibility and production has already started using new SIG filling machines. The first products have been on the market since the beginning of the year.
Efficiency, flexibility and differentiation are key issues in the dairy industry and this not only applies to product preparation, but also to the type of packaging and filling technology used.

Differentiation and convenience both play decisive and important roles.” With each of the new SIG filling machines, Bechtel can fill both combiblocMidi and combifitMidi in three different volumes.

1,600 milk producers deliver their products to the private dairy Bechtel, who processes over 1 million kilograms of milk every day. Bechtel products are available in 27 countries.
